Hey hey, it’s Fri-yay and a great show is headed your way – theater, charity events, a bird watching walk and even an exclusive interview with the Executive Chef of The @DaVinciHotelSA – it’s all going down on #HangoutWithHeather
Heather loves that the annual @CellC #PlayingforPink Ladies Invitational Polo held at the end of last year raised R100k for charity, and the cheque handover took place this week to Reach for Recovery’s ‘Ditto Project’. The money will go towards providing women who have had mastectomies after being diagnosed with breast cancer with silicone prostheses.
BTW – don’t forget to book your tickets to the @Official_MissSA finale on 26th March @SunCityResortSA You can stand a chance to win a set of VIP tickets and a weekend at The Palace, just by voting for your favourite finalist! Epic, right?
@JoburgTheatre have announced the completion of castings for Pinocchio and The Color Purple and Heather chats with producer Bernard Jay more about the casting process and plans for the Pinocchio panto set for end of the year.
Sticking with Joburg Theatre, jazz musician Zoe Modiga is launching her eagerly awaited album Yellow : The Novel on Friday 24 March at The Fringe, Joburg Theatre at 8pm and it looks like it will be a great show!
If you are an avid bird watcher, make sure to join the next bird walk at Parkview Golf Course on Thursday 23rd March. The last walk was highly successful, and you may even get to spot an African harrier hawk or spotted eagle owl – both of which are also regular visitors. Details on the show.
Heather also spent some time getting to find out more #BehindTheMan with @ProChefNair, the highly passionate Executive Chef at @DaVinciHotelSA in Sandton. Find out what makes him tick, and what he loves to do in his down time in this exclusive interview.
